Wow, I can't believe I have an 8 year old. Time really does need to slow down. Easton of course has so many things he can work on, but I guess this is the place I get to brag on him. I am always getting compliments from his teachers of how caring he is. I love this about him. Yes, he's a daddy's boy, but he loves his momma too. I eat of all the hugs I still get. He loves working with pappaw; always learning when up there. And deep down, I really do think he's proud of Allie and Chaz even though he would never admit it. Grades are good. Could work on the attention span and behavior at times but overall does great in school. Still working on liking to read though. Easton, you make your daddy and me get so mad at you sometimes but we love you so much. Happy 8th birthday.......and can't wait for the rest of this year!!!
We took Easton with some friends to Louisville Riverbats game and then to play Laser tag. We all had fun and I think those boys tried every kind of food at the game. Had to leave before we went broke!
The Hardesty's went with us. Haley and Zoey cheesing!
Ok, so I went cheap this year and just made a cake at home. Took it to Cracker Barrel, which is where Easton wanted to eat. But the cake sat in my car during his ballgame and all the icing melted. Oh well, the taste is what matters.
Easton was wanting a new TV for his room. Thanks to Sams Club, got a good deal on a 32".
Easton's been driving my dad insane about getting a pocket knife. For the past few years, dad's been telling him on his 8th birthday. So it finally arrived. Dad has given him some lessons on how to open and close it and the dangers of it. Let's all keep our fingers crossed there's no accidents!

Looks like Easton had an awesome birthday! It's hard to believe he is 8!!
