Great Wolf Lodge

A few weeks ago, we took the kids to Great Wolf lodge. It was awesome! The Straders went with us so I think us adults had just as much fun. We spent the majority of the time in the water park. However, Easton played the magic quest alot, which I highly recommend. I feel like I have way more pictures of Chaz, mostly because I had to stay with him at all times. The girls and Easton would go ride things together and I couldn't keep up. Chaz cried when we had to go home. He has definitely grown to love the water, unlike last year. But I see us have another Great Wolf Lodge trip in the future.

Waiting patiently to go eat at Outback.

Our Day Today

What a great day today! This weather is unbelievable; 60 and 70 degree weather and it's the only the 2nd week of March. I'm hoping it doesn't get cold again.

Chaz is trying to hook the trailer up on his tractor. This picture brings back memories when Easton was trying to do the same thing. Man, time flies. It really does seem like yesterday that Easton had these same play clothes on doing the exact same thing. Chaz is all boy; always trying to pull and haul something.

Timmy grilling steaks and hamburgers. What is it about warm weather that makes you want to grill? Yes, our grill stays in the garage so technically, we could grill any day, but for some reason the food taste better when it's warm out.

Easton and Allie in a serious game of UNO. I mean serious. Most of the time, someone comes out crying, just because they are SO competitive with each other.

As I walked back to the house with my camera around my neck, I had to stop and take a picture of Allie's glove. Baseball and softball season is pretty much here. We were throwing balls in the yard today. Just as always, there is always a ball and glove in the yard. Man, one day I'm gonna miss these laying around.

And last there's Chaz and LuLu. I looked up and noticed at one point today Chaz talking away to LuLu. He loves this dog. Always petting her, talking to her and wanting to give her a bone too many times a day. I remember when I was younger just going out to my dog and talking and telling him everything. Funny no matter how long I talked to him, as long as I petted him, he never moved. But I do see this same bond for LuLu and Chaz in the future. Funny! But ol' LuLu has been around for almost 13 years. I got her when I was 19 years old, just after Timmy and I started dating. She has seen and heard so many things in our people lives, if that makes sense. She sat and watched from her kennel Timmy and I get married. After moving to our house now, she has seen our engagement party, numerous gatherings and tons & tons of birthday parties. And now she's watching our kids grow up. Hang in there LuLu, at least until we get our kids raised. I trust her and know her. I think it's funny how a person can know a dog's certain barks. You know, the playing bark, the there's something bothering me bark, and then there's the you better get out here bark. Anyway, I feel like I'm going a little overboard about LuLu, but I just love this dog. Hopefully, we have many more years with her.
