Allie just recently turned 5 years old. Wow, has time flown by...she is turning into a Big Little girl. I will never forget my labor with her because it was a big mess....literally. And no, not going to gross anybody out with delivery room stories. On January 6, 2006 about 9:00 that night, Easton and I had just finished off a whole bag of marshmellows. I'm not going to lie, I ate almost the whole bag myself....but....I was WAY pregnant so I had a good excuse. Timmy and I put Easton to bed and tucked him in tight. I went to the bathroom to get ready to go to bed myself and all of sudden my water broke and I mean really broke. It was everywhere. All I remember was thinking how much could really be up there. So, we got things together, dropped Easton off at mom and dad's and headed to the hospital. I put towels in my pants the way up there and was so worried about how I was going to get in there without it soaking thru my pants. Well, I made it to the elevator and on the way up, my gray sweatpants couldn't hold no more. I was so embarrased. There was a labor and delivery nurse in the elevator at the same time and she said "Don't worry about it, I see it all the time." Easy for her to say. Well, to wrap this story up, Dr. Nether's said most of the time when your water breaks, you will go into labor. Finally, by 8 a.m. the next morning and not have gone into labor, he finally induced my labor. Man, if only I had done what he had wanted and been induced the day before, the whole mess wouldn't have happened. But then I guess I wouldn't have this story to tell. I got an epidural and felt zero pain during delivery. It was an awesome experience. Little Allie Jade was 6 lbs. 5 oz.
So now Allie's 5. I have already so many memories with her. She has become quite the little mommy. She changes Chaz's diapers, gets him dressed and even washes him in the bathtub. And, unlike Easton, she loves doing all of it. Her likes right now is doing gymnastics, reading books, playing with Chaz, aggravating Easton, her Barbies, coloring and her new favorite thing is to constantly listen to music. And yes, she's definetly my daughter because she loves her new karoke machine. Allie is so easy to make happy. If she's at home all day, you don't have to go tell her to go play. She will go in her room and play with toys for hours at a time. Definetly different from the boys. She had a Hello Kitty party for her birthday at Fliptown Gymnastics. She had a blast but I think her favorite part was of course, opening presents. Here's a few pictures.
Happy Birthday Allie!!!

Now these are some fake smiles.
