ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz

I went to wake up Chaz the other morning for daycare and he just looked extra cute that morning. I think it was because of his little toes sticking out from under the blanket. Had to share the picture.

Allie's First Softball Season

This is the first year for Allie to play softball. Last year, she played Weiner League baseball for 3 and 4 year olds. She's now on a 6 and under girls softball team. She already loves it! Opening ceremony was last Friday night and I did manage to snap a couple pictures while chasing Chaz around. Opening ceremony is where the all the softball teams are anounced on the field and afterwards the first tournament is started. Allie is so cute in her little uniform, however, her shorts are safety-pinned about 2 inches in the back. We are so looking forward to Allie learning the game of softball and having lots of fun! Go Heartbreakers!!!

Easton Turns 6 Years Old

I really can't believe I have a 6 year old now. Time flies when your having fun.....lots of fun! For Easton's birthday this year, he wanted to have some of his friends to spend the night. After days and days of trying to narrow it down, he got his number down to 10 to spend the night. Of course, Timmy and I would have been insane to do this, so instead we invited all the friend's he wanted to and asked only a few to spend the night. There were several boys there and 2 girls from his class that came. The weather cooperated for us again, thank goodness. I had lots of games planned for them, but I think their favorite was the scavenger hunt. The kids got so exited looking for the prize. Easton had baseball practice earlier that day and Timmy came home with a truckload of boys from that. So, by the end of the day, I could tell Easton was wearing down. 4 boys spent the night and were really good. We roasted hot dogs on a campfire and the boys slept in a tent in our basement. (A little bit too cold to camp outside yet.)I'm certain that Easton had a good time at his birthday!

Opening up an envelope of quaters with a note from his friend, Clayton.

I split the kids into 2 teams and Cooter stayed with one team while LuLu stayed with the other. Too funny!

A BB gun from mommy and daddy

The next morning after his party!

A letter from mommy:
Easton,
You are growing up way too fast. I can remember you being the age Chaz is right now and not worrying about you getting older. Somehow though, the years are passing by too quickly. But now as I watch you mature everyday, I can see more and more the type of personality you are going to have. You are so outgoing and always ready to make new friends. I wasn't sure how you and kindergarten was going to get along, but you have done great. I hope that you will continue to love school like you do now. (I'm betting probably not.) You definetly have gave your daddy and I our run for the money sometimes with your energy. But we're excited to teach you so many things in life. Easton, I hope you had a great birthday and I will never forget your pretty smile and big blue eyes you have all the time. I love you so much, Mommy

New Room

Easton has been asking for months to move his room downstairs. He said he was tired of sharing a room with Allie. I made him sleep in the extra room downstairs first, which was actually my computer room, for a couple of nights to make sure he wasn't going to be scared. And, he wasn't. So about a month ago, I bought him a new bedroom suite and started doing his OWN room. He has been so excited. I can't believe how he is not scared and how much he loves it. It's a little cold down there in the winter, but I got him a heated mattress pad. The room is not completly finished, but getting there!

The chalkboard was mine from when a was little. My mom helped me to paint it with chalkboard paint to make it look new. I can remember being his age having tons of fun with it.

Easter Pictures

We all had a great Easter and I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures. This seems like such a busy time of year for us. Baseball is starting up, Easter and Easton's birthday all happens at once. But I guess I wouldn't want it any other way. Easter Bunny did stop by and drop off some baskets for the kids that morning. They were totally pumped about it. Even Chaz was too!
Wow! Chaz has some serious bed-head this morning!

.

On Easter Sunday, the Risner family comes over to our house. The kids colored eggs and then hunted eggs in the beautiful weather. We had good food with lots to eat! Chaz was not much on hunting eggs; he maybe found 2 with some help. Everyone kept trying to help him and he would just get mad. I don't think he really got the idea that candy was going to be in every one of them.

Here he is mad that someone is helping him. He is so stubborn sometimes!

I call this one Little Timmy and Little Travis.

I think Cooter got a few pieces of candy out of the eggs while we were trying to get this picture.

Digging for candy!

Allie with her great Aunt Rita

The weekend after, we had the Link Easter dinner. Once again, the weather was beautiful. The kids hunted more eggs and brought home MORE candy!
Jane with her new grandbaby, Brooke. She's just a little bit proud! Brooke is our newest addition to the family. She is so adorable!

Allie and Chaz digging out candy.

And of course, it always results in Chaz taking some from Allie. You would think it would be the other way around since Chaz is the little one, but not usually the case. Chaz is boss 99% of the time!

Easton insisted that day he had to wear his "fast" shoes so he could get a lot of eggs.

Allie looked so pretty in her dress, except for the big tatoo Timmy decided to put on her arm. Not to mention that it sort of looked like a rebel flag.

Also, Chaz got a sunburn on his face and arms the day before. Another award for Mom of the Year!

This was not an easy picture to take, trying to get them all to cooperate, especially since Easton would not quit making funny faces. Finally, you get to a point and say....whatever!!!
