Chaz- Weiner League

Well, the non-competitive days are over. Chaz moves up to T-ball next year so no more fun, laid back no keeping score Weiner League baseball. Chaz loves to play though. He's always wanting me to pitch balls to him. Here's a few pictures during the season.

PROUD!!!

Easton helping coach 1st base. He's trying to tell Chaz to step on 1st base with the ball.

Easton giving Chaz a drink of water.

In Weiner League, the players are always fighting over the ball. I think Chaz ended up getting this one.

Watching the game

Allie's Award Day in 1st Grade

Allie finished a great year in 1st grade. She had Mrs. Dennis, who is also a personal friend and part of our church family. Allie loves school and is always eager to excel. She received many awards, including one of the very few 1st graders to ever be picked for the Fitness Team where they got to travel to a different school to compete. Allie was also picked to be in Gifted and Talented where she will be worked with in 2nd grade. I hope she always enjoys school the way she does now. And thanks to Mrs Dennis also for making it a great year!

And another best friend, Wyatt

Easton's Award Day in 3rd Grade

Easton finished up a great year in 3rd grade. Mrs. Hayes was his teacher who is also a personal friend of mine and part of our church family too. Easton received several awards, in which he was really proud of. Sometimes we laugh because his goals in life are so high. I guess that's ok and I can remember my goals being like that too when I was young. This was Easton's last year of getting "letters" for his grade. From now on, he will get regular grades, preferably A's and B's. Thanks you, Mrs. Hayes for all your hard work with Easton!!!

Allie- Heartbreakers Softball

Allie LOVES softball. If she had to pick one thing, this would be it. She's played on the Heartbreakers team since she was 3 and Timmy has been the coach for the past 3 years. It's a little sad to see her move up but we're excited too. Timmy hopes to always be able to coach her team. He's loves the sport too. The Heartbreakers had a great season!!!

2nd place in the end of the season tournament.

2nd place in league play for the season.

And her biggest fan of all!!!

April Pictures

Easton had his 9th birthday April 15th. We got him his own kayak, which is what he was wanting. He's used it several times this summer and loves it. It has become our new favorite past time to go out on the river. I can't believe I already have a 9 year old. He seems to be maturing a "little" bit! I love Easton's personality; he is very outgoing. Never has a problem meeting new friends. And I guess if I had to pick out one trait that I love about Easton the most is his heart for others. He really is a caring person. Always wanting to donate money or things to help people. And the way he talks to the sick or elderly people just melts my heart sometimes. Easton loves school. He hates to read but excels in math. (Sounds just like me.) He also loves sports. He can't wait to go to practice every night, whether it be baseball, football or basketball. Monday evenings, he has started taking guitar lessons. He can't wait till he can play a whole song. Thank you mom for helping me take him. These first 9 years have gone by so fast but I do look forward to the next 9 years. Easton helps to make lots of good memories!!!

Mom and her friend Brenda took the kids to French Lick, Ind. to the indoor water park for a couple nights. The kids love to swim and I think they love spending the night in a hotel room just as much.

Mom always like to have the kids wear the same color. She says it 's easier to keep up with them in a big crowd.

Easter Pictures

Seems kind of weird that I'm posting Easter pictures in August but I guess better late than never if I want to have them in my blog book for the year!

Found their baskets from the Easter Bunny

At Aunt Rita's house, Daniel had put real baby chicks in some of the eggs. What a surprise Chaz had when he opened this egg!

And Daniel also brough rabbits. And of coarse Allie loved them.

Aunt Rita with all her nieces and nephew. Of course, she has many great nieces and nephews too.

Here's a few of the great nieces and nephews with Nathan. Some are waiting to be born still.

Finally......a blog update!!!!

Ok, so it's been crazy busy around the Link house. I'm not even kidding, every night there is something between all the kids. Chaz finished his baseball season, Allie has finished her softball league play and then finished up her all stars play. She is now playing fall ball and doing gymnastics. Easton finished up his baseball league ball, has played travel baseball all summer and is still playing. He's now also playing football and taking guitar lessons. And Easton also joined BETA club at school. My kids should never be able to say they never got to do anything! But we all enjoy every moment of it. Even though I get a headache from trying to juggle it all, when I stop and think about it I wouldn't change any of it because I can see how much my kids are having fun and learning.
So these pictures here are from February when Sarah and I took the girls to Louisville for the evening. Avery got Allie a gift card to Club Tabby for Christmas. It's a place in the mall where the girls can get fixed up. They get to pick their hair style and type of make-up. Sarah's sister, Katie went with us too. We then went ice skating, in which I had never done either. Pretty hard, but we all finally managed to stay on our feet for more than a minute. The girls had so much fun and I hope to make this a yearly event!
