Christmas 2011

So finally getting around to putting Christmas pictures on here. Seems like it's such a hectic time cause right after Christmas, I'm planning for Allie's birthday. And not to mention trying to put away 3 kids presents in their rooms. A few weeks before Christmas, our family gets with the Straders and Johnson's to exchange gifts. The kids always have a blast and this year, we had an extra visitor.........Santa Clause. The kids were amazed! We sat them in the living room while they could hear him saying Ho Ho Ho out in the garage. Here's their anticipation...........

Easton, Allie and Chaz sat in Santa's lap naming off all the things they want. Chaz was not as willing to talk as the other two but he still got up there. Easton was asking Santa a lot of questions.......where is sled and reindeer were, how he knew all their names? I can't believe how big he looked sitting in Santa's lap.

After Santa left, we opened presents. I'm pretty sure this is the kids favorite part!

Thanks to Sarah, she brought stuff to make canvas ornaments with the kids handprints on them. We put their name and year on it.

And of course, we have to update our yearly picture! Thank you Sarah and Gino for being two of my best friends in the world!!!

And I know some people are familiar with the Elf on the Shelf. Well, an Elf visited us this year......the kids named him Elmer. For those that are not familiar, the elf watches kids during the day and flies to the North Pole every night and report to Santa if they have been naughty or nice. He would be in a different place every morning. The kids jumped out of bed every morning looking for him. Timmy and I really considered leaving him out all year since it was working so good. One of the most exciting mornings for the kids is when they found him in my flour. What a mess he made!!!

Christmas Eve morning, we do Christmas with my mom and dad. The breakfast is great! Here's some picture of the kids opening presents.

One of Easton's favorite presents.....a fake snake. I was about to trash it the other night when I turned down my covers and there it was in my bed!

Another favorite of Easton's....a remote control helicopter.

Allie with another nightgown!

The kids giving mammaw her necklace with their names on it.

Mammaw and Pappaw got the 3 kids one big gift together....a Hockey Table. This is when mammaw is telling them about it. Allie is asking a question here, "where is it, then?"

They found it in our basement at home!

Christmas Eve night, the kids were getting ready for Santa to come. First, I went outside to find them trying to see Santa with Easton's telescope.

And then I notice a note on the table beside the milk and cookies and couldn't help but laugh what Easton had wrote to Santa.

So now there's Christmas morning. Santa had wrapped everything since Easton has a record for getting up early and scoping everything out before anyone else gets up. As a parent, this is one of the greatest moments.....seeing those faces on Christmas morning!
Scoping it all out!

The best present Chaz got.....the Cars 2 racetrack he had been asking for.

And look at that face!!!

And I've never seen Easton this excited before when he opened up his WWE 12 game.

Mom and dad came down to watch them open presents but pretty sure dad did nothing but open and put together for Chaz.

Allie with her new artset.
